Sign yourself up, or enter another volunteer’s details on their behalf. Volunteers walk students between sessions and monitor the dormitory floors overnight — it is the single largest thing that keeps the Academy safe. About five minutes.

What happens after you submit

You will receive a confirmation email with everything you entered. Keep it — it is your record, and you can reply to it to change anything.

Overnight volunteers then receive two District 7430 Youth Protection emails: first from STEMYEA2022@gmail.com with instructions for completing eligibility, then directly from Darlene Scott, our Youth Protection Chair. A background check is required when working with youth in District 7430. Once everything is approved, you and the Youth Protection Chair are both notified.
